The 'Passion of the Heart Award' will be awarded to Asher Kimchi, M.D., FACC, FACP, an attending physician at the division of Cardiology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles, and Clinical Professor of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, and the Founder and Chairman of the International Academy of Cardiology.

Dr. Asher Kimchi will be honored for his distinguished career in Cardiology, and his lifetime dedication and leadership in cardiovascular education worldwide.  Proceeds from this celebration will provide essential support for life-saving research in the on-going battle against heart disease, the No. 1 killer of American men and women.  Celebrities will join forces with our medical honoree and guests, for a magical night where the brightest stars will shine together with some of L.A.'s top movers and shakers, in a memorable effort to save lives.
